1937. Tuberculosis claims the lives of as many as one out of every seven people on the planet and no one knows how to
stop it. However, in the small town of Saranac Lake, New York, modern medicine has determined that sitting outside in the
freezing cold and doing absolutely nothing at all has had miraculous results. Desperate to survive, thousands flock to "take
the cure."
